The II Medical School is an open, modern, stylish, innovative unit of Karazin University, which provides training for independent practice of healthcare professionals in several highly demanded specialties in Ukraine and the world.

A significant advantage of the II Medical School is the continuity of the educational trajectory of education seekers, which is formed by undergraduate and postgraduate training. Thus, after receiving a diploma, graduates of the II Medical School enter internship training in the relevant specialties and improve their professional competencies throughout their professional career at events of continuous professional development of healthcare workers, which are provided by the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education of the II Medical School of Karazin University. Thus, the II Medical School is able to provide training of true professionals of the European level from school to the heights of their professional career.

The training of higher education applicants of all specialties is practically oriented and student-centered. From the first years of study, students are involved in practical activities in their future profession, participate in master classes, seminars, trainings, conferences, acquire practical skills in the best simulation center in the country and consolidate them in real clinical practice.

During the training, the School uses the capabilities of the simulation center, the dental simulation center, the Karazin Clinical and Simulation Dental Center based on the Regional Clinical Hospital of the Kharkiv Regional Council, the Karazin Center for Physical Rehabilitation and Medical Psychology, and almost 20 clinical bases from among the leading healthcare institutions of the city. Along with traditional approaches, modern educational technologies are integrated into the educational process: online platforms, distance learning courses, modern simulators, virtual reality systems, multimedia software complexes, 3D technologies, etc.
