The II Medical School provides training for higher education applicants in the specialties I1 Dentistry, I4 Medical Psychology, I6 Medical Diagnostic and Treatment Technologies and I7 Therapy and Rehabilitation, while teachers and scientists from several faculties participate in the training of higher education applicants, which is an undoubted advantage of education at a classical university.

The training of higher education applicants of all specialties is practically oriented and student-centered. From the first years of study, students are involved in practical activities in their future profession, participate in master classes, seminars, trainings, conferences, acquire practical skills in the best simulation center in the country and consolidate them in real clinical practice.

In the process of training, the faculty uses the capabilities of the simulation center, the dental simulation center, the Karazin Clinical and Simulation Dental Center based on the “Regional Clinical Hospital” of the Kharkiv Regional Council, the Karazin Center for Physical Rehabilitation and Medical Psychology and almost 20 clinical bases from among the leading healthcare institutions of the city. Along with traditional approaches, modern educational technologies are integrated into the educational process: online platforms, distance courses, modern simulators, virtual reality systems, multimedia software complexes, 3D technologies, etc.

A significant part of the work of the II Medical School is the organization and implementation of educational activities in the field of postgraduate medical education. The scientific and pedagogical staff of the faculty provides training for interns in several specialties, advanced training and continuous professional development of doctors of all medical specialties, dentists of all dental specialties, medical and clinical psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, laboratory diagnostics doctors and other healthcare workers.
